Sally,
You wrote this (among other things):

list?
I can remember beginning to create my own language when I was very
young. Two of the few words I made translations for were _girl_ and
_stupid_. Because I can remember what two girls I decided to first
speak my language two (Can you guess what I said?), I must have been ten
or eleven at the time. That was long before I had Internet access.
(Incidentally, IIRC, the language basically replaced English words with
new words, but I did have adjectives follow nouns, as in Spanish. Oh,
and the few words I translated would be priceless to me now, if only I
could find them.)
I should add that after joining this list, I have received many valuable
suggestions for improving my current project, _Yibrisitoj_. I'm also
considering reviving the language of the bizarre Dystopian culture.

He has had no direct influence on me. I have not read any of his books,
and I have not taken the time to study his languages. The only conlang
I've studied in depth has been Esperanto, and that was long after my
first attempt at making a conlang.
