Sally wanted to know how we came create Conlangs.

I had started with this fascination way before I knew anyone else had
attempted it. Then, at the age of fourteen (in 1966) I came across Esperanto.
I fell in love with the language and it became a major focus of mine for many
years. Meanwhile I continued to try creating my own language(s) without
success. This went on for years (till 1997) when I came across the list and
Tony Harris' "Aluric". It was this that convinced me that I should resurrect
my old hobby. Thus the "Druni Language Project" was born.
