It's fairly simple (i think) . I'll try ti give a simple rundown on how I
understand it:
You have a verb, and one or more nouns/pronouns. Whichever noun/pronoun a
trigger marker is placed next to, that determines the conjugation of the
verb (also, the "case" (for lack of a better term) of the verb determines
it too. The other nouns/pronouns that arent the focus of the verb take a
non-subject trigger marker (it just seems complex as to how speakers who
use this system can just know what conjugation to use and where the
trigger falls, etc.).
Hypothetical words:
saram - walk.
trigger marker - yu
non trigger marker - as
dog - nami
girl - una
you - may
our conjugations are suffixes (as in Saalangal, Tagalog uses some infixes
and the system is different):
Actor (the one doing the action is focused on) -ame
Beneficial (the action is done for the reciever) - ura
Direction (action goes from the actor to the reciever) - ate
Word order is generally VSO, as in the first and second examples. However,
usually in Saalangal, the word with the trigger goes first, even if it's
the recipient of the action. Directional pretty much requires that the
word that is the trigger go after the verb, in my system :):
Saramame yu una as nami - Walk.actor TRIGGER girl non.subj.trig
dog - The girl walked the dog.
Saramura may yu una as nami - Walk.beneficial you TRIGGER girl
non.subj.trig dog -(you) Walk the dog for the girl
Saramate yu nami as una- Walk.directional TRIGGER dog non.subj.trig
girl - The girl walked to the dog
OR
Saramate yu una as nami - Walk.directional TRIGGER girl non.subj.trig
dog - The dog walked to the girl.
Anyway, I hope i have that down, or I'm in big trouble :).

Same for me. I'm a very rank amateur and have just been adding things as
the language needs it.
