Exian uses a lot of one-consonant prepositions: some of them are even case
endings from Indo-European switcherooed into prefixes; others are Semitic-based.

In fact, there are cases where the preposition takes on a zero-letter form! The
only change in those cases are initial mutation. For example, |kalb| [k@lv]
"dog" has an instrumental |nk@lb| [Nh@lv]. The initial sound is a voiceless
nasal, the same as |ngh| in Welsh.
