The Kassi are rather boring about that, I'm afraid. :-) They have, as
far as I know, just three words, _uagugadiala_, roughly "perversion,
fornication", _uagadiala_ "mating", defined specifically as sexual
activity with the use of contraception and in accordance with religious
laws, and _ualikangalla_ "breeding", that is, sexual reproduction aimed
at producing offspring; translates literally as "child-creation", in
fact :-)
The Kassi's sexual morals are very different from any human society I've
ever heard of, and if any human society had it, I'd be extremely
surprised. :-) There is just one period during the year in which
sexual activity is permissible. This is the mating season - like many
animals, there is only one period in the year in which they are sexual.
There are a tiny minority who desire sex at other times of the year.
This is considered a perversion. However, during the mating season,
pretty much anything goes. The only rule is that the men may not enter
the women's village. Men and women live in separate, neighboring,
villages which are off-limits to the other sex (pre-pubescent boys are,
for purposes such as this, classified as "female"). The mating season
is the only exception, and that's just one-way - women enter the men's
village, men are still prohibited from entering the women's village.
So, for them, sexual morality is a matter of WHEN, not HOW or WHO. :-)
