Guess work

Padraic, I think it was you who mentioned a couple of
months ago that someone on some other list you're
involved with was trying to guess what language your
sig file was written in.  How did that come out?

The reason I ask is that it's happening to me now.
And man! is this guy good.  After only two posts he's
getting really close to the truth.

His first guess was Armenian.  In the second he
admited that he guessed that because it was I-E but he
only knows one phrase in Armenian.

Second post he guessed Friulian or an odd dialect of
Catalan.  He's hung up on the orthography with the "dj
like Croatian, but where does the tilde come from"!
He's noticed that tr > rr and that en > in and he
*thinks* hes identified two Greek roots.  He's right
about one.  He pretty sure that it's Romance now, but
he's still trying to figure out which lang.  He asked
(and then said don't tell him) if it was my own
transliteration for some Romance lang normally written
in other characters like Romanian (? not for a few
hundred years!) or Ladino!

Then he asked (and said don't tell) if it was a
hypothetical future Romance language.  This guy's just
one step from the truth in just two posts!
