Sorry, first i thought '(pseudo-)Spanish' probably because i'm American
and Spanish is the prototypical Foreignese of USAins.  Then i thought
of using the term 'Romance' but then i realized that in funny Romance
languages like French, |u| is /y/ and not /u/.  So then i went back to
calling it 'pseudo-Spanish', because i guess i just completely forgot
about the whole diachronic time axis. :P  Of course, the sig i've been
using today should have reminded me that there is such a thing as 'the
past'... ;)
