Welcome! I didn't even know what a conlang was until I heard about
Esperanto; I was only familiar with people like Tolkien and the makers of
Star Wars inventing words mostly for names. I just thought the desire to
make up one's own languages was a sign of severe eccentricity and the
need to get out more.
