Not directly. OED says "anger" is from Old Norse <angr> "trouble/affliction", and Watkins says "Angst" is from Old High German <angust> "anxiety". They're both supposed to be from IE *ang- (Germanic *angaz and *angusti). *Muke! -- http://personal.southern.edu/~alrivera/
