To my knowledge, all (major) English dialects have the glottal stop. Just not in that position. "Apple" is /?&pl/; "little" can be /lI?l/, but that's replacing another stop; but "Hawaii" is usually /hVwajji/. Compare with ryey (having the taste of rye), which is /rajji/ or doughy /dowi/.
