Based on a subset of the spams that come in with, e.g., "Re: %RND_UC_CHAR[2-8],
river and waved" (apparent translation: "generate me a random string of
uppercase characters of a length somewhere between two and eight inclusive",
in I know not which programming language), I believe the string at the
beginning is completely random. Part of its charm.
