In Senjecas, the difference is made by putting the nouns in different
classes: -es class for animals > -os class for perceptible objects.
mhakes, cow; mhakos, beef
piskes, fish; piskos, fish
jorkes, deer; jorkos, venison
etc.
However, this is not quite unambiguous and a context is needed
because 'jorkos' could also mean a deer carcass lying on the side of
the road.
I can imagine a joke about what's for dinner. Jorkos. Is that venison
or road kill?
