No, "waas "something different. I think 'blurr' is something that comes
closest. Maybe it is the way it is pronounced that makes it funny?

Answer possible to the person asking about "Waas". From memory Waas or
like is Water in German, but from the comments about Napoleon and names
as well as the snickers I expect the name means something like "Piss" or
to take one..
