One of many things your Yogācāra school has in common with my own Theravada school.
It is interesting to note, going back to the original subject, that it is common
practice in Theravada sanghas to use words from the Pali lexicon rather than their
near English equivalents for the simple reason that the Pali words express more
precisely concepts for which there is no exact English equivalent.
So I suppose that when it comes to discursive thought, or dialog, having an
extensive Pali vocabulary could very well affect what one can think about or
discuss.
