As for the title question, unfortunately no. I think conlanging has changed my
sense of grammar in subtle ways. Maybe because I don't speak any language
on a regular basis.

I think I'm going to stay out of the ensuing epistemolophical discussion, if only
because all the replies starting with Jim Henry's 2nd are coming up completely
blank including the links part (I wonder what worldview that represents on the
part of listserv?)
