Triggers and infinitives

As i've been working on Saalangal, i've discovered that with the
infinitive form, only the patient focuses (patient, location, direction,
instrument, and beneficiary) may be used (as in subordinate clauses).
It doesnt seem to me that the agent focuses (agent, causative, and
unintentional) forms can use the infinitive because they seem to require
an agent to focus on, and with the infinitive there is no agent performing
the action (yet).
Do i have it correct?
