Sanskrit for English

I wonder how useful that Sanskrit writing would be for English or a
Conlang?

I find it interestijng that the civilization of the Harrapan died out
before the Aryan invasion, or that the writing of the older civ did not
carry over to the new?

And that the supposed origin of the Sanskrit is some Northern Semetic,
why would they
adopt it for writing when there was I would expect traces of the older
Harrapan?

Would the Aryans language be influenced by the older Harrapan, as well
as their writing
system..

Or is the writing origin given by many just a catch all, or people
wanting all
lingos to come from Semitic and all?
