Run screaming, I must add.
I have had the absolutely miserable misfortune of being coerced into such
a contest in a family reunion (the infamous Wong side of the family) in which
there was no possible escape at all for any of the truly fluent English
speakers (mostly the Sino-British Changs, the more Americanized Wongs & the
poor, bewildered "round-eyes" who had the foolhardiness to be married into
the Wong family).
It's mindboggling how much liquor and beer was consumed that day and
night (about US$3,700 worth amongst about 25-30 people... & most of it was
consumed by the English speakers).
