i rather like the greek system, where the root |than|
forms the present tense |apoTHNe:ísko:| ( with the
prepositional prefix |apo| meaning 'away' and the
incipient sufix |sk| ) which means 'i die' and the
perfect |téTHNe:ka| meaning 'i have died'/'i am dead'
i also like the latin euphemism |uixe:runt| 'they have
lived' meaning 'they are dead' . . . been there, done
that, got the tombstone
