TRANS: a haiku: retort

In the Spanish, I count 6/8/5, in the Draseléq, I count 5/6/5 (assuming
"ai" is a single syllable, 6/8/6 if not), and in the English, I count
5/6/5.  Don't haikus have to be 5/7/5?  Is there a liason between _todo
es_ and _cae el_?  The English could be fixed by using _there is_
instead of _there's_.

For me, _here_ is a single syllable, with a diphthong /ir=/

ok. to those who are going to nitpick about how haiku 'has to has to has to
has to' be of 5/7/5 structure, let me tell you it MOST CERTAINLY DOES NOT.
just go to your local library and pick up an anothology of modern English /
Spanish /whatever haiku poetry, and they usually go on (at great length)
that haikus DO NOT have to be 5/7/5 or even consist of 3 lines to be
considered an example of the genre.
