Really? That seems strange to me... some of the Spanish just over the
border from France communicate almost solely by swearing! Okay, that's
an exaggeration, but some of them do swear a lot and Spanish seems to
have a lot of swear words... perhaps that's why. :) The more swearing
you hear, the less offensive it seems, until what was strong seems
mild... perhaps the French overuse their swear words as well? We do the
same thing of course... some English people massively over-use swear
words,  and in the end the words just stop being extremely offensive
because you hear them so much you become immune.
