Thanks for the correction.  I'm a rank amateur, so my terminology
is often a bizarre idiolect.  (Both facts are probably very apparent).
I don't want to get back into looking-glass land, but to quote the
great man:  "When I use a word it means exactly what I want it to
mean" :-)

However, I've been on a bit of a re-conlanging scrunch this evening,
(while "The Beast" has been busily numbercrunching) and I may
have solved many of my own problems.  Comments please?

Most of the Solution is:

I've potentially saved my sanity with the bolt from the blue of putting
the person/gender consonant at the end of suffixes rather than the
start and putting the person/gender of the whole word immediately
after the root, rather than at the end of the word.

For example "tatkimoyis" becomes "tatkisoyim" (actually more
ugly rather than less), or shock horror "tatkis oyim" (two isolated
words, yipee!!!), heck I can even envision "taktis oyim", which
revitalises my verb-forms as well!  Looking at it as I type, it even
makes the darned thing look more IE.

Due to this, words without roots have now become approximately
SVO instead of OVS, which is more in keeping with the plan for the
rest of the language.

(As an aside, the rules from which I'll form evidential suffixes are
now a piece of cake, and have spawned a new theoretical set of
causative suffixes, and a theoretical "multi-state logic"/"secondary
evidential" set of words)

Appologies for posting my question and answer so close together, I
conlang in bursts.
