The counting thread comes up every now and again. How about this system: 0 shtup 1 ek 2 trago 3 benki 4 bedla 5 zola vi bedla 6 zola vi benki 7 zola vi trago 8 zola vek 9 zola 10 zola ek 11 zola trago 12 zola benki 13 zola bedla 14 trazo vi bedla 15 trazo vi benki 16 trazo vi trago 17 trazo vek 18 trazo .... 27 beze ... 36 bedlaze .... 81 zazak 82 zazak ek ..... 162 trago zazak 163 trago zazak ek ..... 648 zola vek zazak 649 zola vek zazak ek .... 729 zola zazak .... 531441 mola zazak vel etc... Their numbering system has 5 digits and one diacritical mark. Can anyone guess how they are deployed? Hint: if you know how to say minus-5, you're probably on the right track. Tbis is drawn from my new language in progress. I'll try to get the grammar (or some examples) in postable shape sometime soon. -- David _________________________________________ David Durand dgd@cs.bu.edu \ david@dynamicDiagrams.com Boston University Computer Science \ Sr. Analyst http://www.cs.bu.edu/students/grads/dgd/ \ Dynamic Diagrams --------------------------------------------\ http://www.dynamicDiagrams.com/ MAPA: mapping for the WWW \__________________________
