Okay... I definitely have no idea. I thought I had, but I appear to have

'gotten'? it sounds like it suffers the same problem as 'got' even
though it has the right amount to flow nicely. i'll settle for 'been'
But that has the same amount as 'got', so I have no idea why neither
'got' nor 'gotten' satisfied. this word-choice results in a re-write of
what i'd originally intended for the rest of the sentence, and perhaps
even a meaning change> ... but I appear to been confused about my
knowledge of the word.
