Incredible! I especially liked the ceremonial interlace script. It reminds me that one of my early projects was an alien language without verbs. (Actually, it was an auxlang devised for communication between the humans and aliens; their own language was too alien to be comprehended by the humans.) It didn't even have anything like your set of copulas--the concept was that it was to be a very literal language, with each sentence basically describing the (spatial) arrangement of objects, so that a description of an activity is liking describing subsequent pages in a flipbook. Jeremy with ball. Jeremy's hands with ball over Jeremy's head. Ball in air near Jeremy. Ball far from Jeremy. Ball on ground. I didn't pursue it far enough to determine whether the idea was completely hopeless or not. ;) Cheers, Tom ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tom Tadfor Little tom@telp.com Santa Fe, New Mexico (USA) Telperion Productions www.telp.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
