Incredible! I especially liked the ceremonial interlace script.
It reminds me that one of my early projects was an alien language without
verbs. (Actually, it was an auxlang devised for communication between the
humans and aliens; their own language was too alien to be comprehended by
the humans.) It didn't even have anything like your set of copulas--the
concept was that it was to be a very literal language, with each sentence
basically describing the (spatial) arrangement of objects, so that a
description of an activity is liking describing subsequent pages in a flipbook.
Jeremy with ball. Jeremy's hands with ball over Jeremy's head. Ball in air
near Jeremy. Ball far from Jeremy. Ball on ground.
I didn't pursue it far enough to determine whether the idea was completely
hopeless or not. ;)
