I don't know why anyone would view conlanging with disgust. There's no Biblical precedent. One could even see as God as the ultimate conlanger. Someone had to teach Adam to speak... I've always kinda liked what JJRT said about it: Being made in a creating God's image it's in our very nature to create (or subcreate?).
