Re: Conlang Coat of Arms

Peter sent me an image of his arms design so that it could be uploaded
for all to see - here it is:

A couple of points came out of the ensuring discussion. One was that
the white background could stand for a blank piece of paper (the
starting point for any creative project) and the latter was that the
design could be improved by highlighting the nib of the quill in some
way, to distinguish it from an ordinary feather that isn't used to
write with.

Peter suggested a yellow nib, although there's an obvious problem
there with the metal nib against the metal background, and at any rate
I don't feel that it works.

I suggested that an alternative way to highlight the nib might be to
have a droplet of blue ink falling directly below it. An image
illustrating this suggestion has not been produced.
