Re: Planets and Moons

Here's something I came up with for my still incubating dead conworld:

It orbits a class G2 star like Our sun, maybe a bit smaller.

day = 26 hrs (ooh)
year = 397 days
AU = 1.05
Radius = 6441.78 km
Density = 5.37
gravity = .98 earth's

So while it's a bit bigger than earth, it has less mass and has a
little less gravity. I imagine the core is just a bit smaller.

I Just realized that when I did the math for the moon, I made the moon
BIGGER than the planet! Such cannot be so! Well, i'll work on that
tomorrow. But, i think i've got the math right for the planet with its
density and gravity, as well as placing it in the right AU from its
sun (I hope!). As I had said on my thread about the world, I purposely
wanted the planet to be very Earthlike, so the distances and time
periods aren't too different.
