A virus from Listserv!

I just got an e-mail entitled "Re: Document", from Listserv. I opened it,
and there was an .gif attachment. Has anyone gotten this e-mail? It has a
virus, which you'll get if you open the message. (Luckily Norton caught it
right away.) But why did this happen??? John Cowan?
