'Untouchables' (was re: anti-Sanskritism and more)

This is a bit off topic, but I thought I should say something...
As I lerned from National Geographic's June 2003 issue, those cast sysstems are
actually what I'd call a form of racism, and I read about the problems tens of
millions of 'Untouchables' in India still face today... This is really wrong,
and I doubt you will dispute that. This doesn't mean I agree with what the
anti-Sanskrit scripture says, but I still think anti-castism is a good thing.
And if you don't agree that people shouldn't treat other people like how most
Untouchables are treated, then, well, I'm speechless with horror.
I follow Aung San Suu Kyi's story, and have learned about Nelson Mandela, and
other rights activists... and read Human Rights Watch reports etc. I know, it's
off-topic; but it still matters even though this isn't the Politics List or
something.
[But when you bring up this anti-Sanskritism, the anti-castism is bound to be
brought up too, :) which is good so people can recognize the problem.]
I hope yall will understand.
