Part of the problem - nay, most of the problem -
seems to be that Hotmail is now part of M$. I
tried to create an account, just to see how it
functions, but it won't accept birthdate data and
it asks to type in characters that don't appear
on the keyboard. M$ nonsense!
I suspect that there is a tab somewhere that
allows you to set mail preferences. That should
be set to ascii or similar, so that it will cause
as few problems as possible.
I guess you could always try contacting M$ help
and ask them how to turn off the html setting!
