Sadly, it doesn't. Public transportation here is horrible, at least to
someone who has been spoiled by European and Japanese standards. My wife
works in St. Paul, and we once figured out that it would take 90+ minutes,
plus a transfer in Minneapolis, to get from our house to her workplace, when
it takes only about 20-30 minutes to drive by car. For in-city travel, the
buses aren't bad (see http://www.metrocouncil.org/transit/index.htm/ for
details), but once you leave the city, things become more difficult. If need
be, however, I would not be adverse to giving you a ride.
Shall we start setting a more firm date? Say, July 2nd?
