I have no particular interest in the matter myself, and if people
don't want to discuss it, then by all means let it not be discussed.
But it would seem to be on topic, which is more than can be said of a
lot of threads on this list, and if would be unfortunate to discourage
people from discussing it if they were interested. In any case, it
looks to me as if the discussion is winding up naturally; no need to
poke at it.
(My apologies if there's anything off about the paragraph above. I
have water in my ear, and I think it's throwing my prose off balance.)
