Neither do I, and <opinion!!> find it a rather whimsical practice. I have
enough trouble coming up with names for cats...
My sister and her then-husband called their car "The Wombat". I can't
imagine why.
Friends termed one of my cars long ago "The Funeral Car", another one "The
White Heap". I did call one "The Gas Chamber", but that's not the same as
calling them Ernie or Maude.
