On with the Baton [was: Re: And the relay continues]

I've sent the poem to Chris Peters.  Other than having to introduce a verb
into the first line and making the last line a passive expression, i think my
translation with fairly close.  The use of modal verbs, I fear, may alter
Chris' interpretation of the poem.  Then again, that may be interesting.
