Ha! Fair enough. I guess the raising and backing of the vowel puts it
close enough to the glide that it makes sense for them to merge.

What's "Cwo:"? Is that a phonetic spelling? /C/ doesn't seem like the
right symbol there if so, but if not, the : is confusing me . . .
