I'm using Eudora Light on a Mac and a Mac-Icelandic encoded font, which
makes Windows' thorn or eth come through correct, because Eudora does the
right transcoding by default, even without any Icelandic resources in the
system. Icelandic fonts can be downloaded from Apple's FTP site. I don't
have the URL handy, but can supply it if any Mac users are interested.
BTW I have made a couple of AppleScripts that does a slightly better job of
Windows<->Mac conversion, with some ideosyncratic but useful mappings like
s-caron/hacek <->
, z-caron/hacek <-> . As they are they need Tex-Edit
Plus, but I could turn them into standalones if there is enough interest.
A real Latin-2<->Mac CE/Croatian conversion script would probably also be a
good idea. I might do that.
