The Agatha Christie poem is (part of?) a double dactyl (the line separation for the first line should come after "to" which is the second unstressed syllable of the second dactyl.). See the book Jiggery Pokery for definition and numerous examples. I regret I cannot locate my copy so I cannot verify whether this one is one of the original ones. John Leland
