It's quite a well-known catalogue in amateur astronomy circles (if by now
dated - but I bought it when I was just out of school, over 30 years ago). I
still have it... just going to have a look.
(returns with tome..) "Atlas of the heavens-II Catalogue by Becvar, haceks
on the c and r. Published by the Czech Academy of Sciences, 1964.

PS - do you think this might be a good place to stop - we've strayed rather
