I've never done a conlang with vowel harmony. 'M not too sure I like

My nifty currently-being-worked-on conlang Old Føtisk uses ø for /2/
and ö for
/&\/ (it also uses oe ligature for /2:/, but /&\:/ is spelt ö and
differentiated by following consonants). My other nifty
currently-being-worked-on conlang Ancient Føtisk used oi(e) for /2(:)/,
oe for /&\/ and oia for /&\:/, but I imagine you don't like polygraphs
as much as you should :(
OTOH, I'm still thinking about getting rid of /&\(:)/; when I got back
to conlanging after semester, I'd even forgotten my original sketch had
retained it.
