In Ayhan, I had set a rule that typically final consonant
clusterswould receive a final /a/ at the end. Which reslted in the
names Roland and Robert becoming Rolanda and Roberta, probably too
"feminized" for most people, so another option is to reduce the
cluster down, eliminating one or the other consonant:
Basing them off of my pronunciation of the names:
Roland > Rolan /ro'lan/
Robert > Raber, Rabet /ra'ber/, /ra'bet/
Let's do a few Biblical names (English variants, of course) and use my
pronunciation:
Elijah > Ilayja /i'lajdZa/
Michael > Maykal /'majkal/
Elizabeth > Ilisabet /ilisa'bet/
Mary > Meri /me'ri/
Joseph > Josep /dZo'sep/
Paul > Pal /pal/
Simon > Sayman /'sayman/
James > Jensa, Jes, Jen /'dZensa/, /dZes/, /dZen/
