Brithenig speakers are a European culture and share obscenities that are common to that part of the world. A'll diawl, "to the devil" is a common exclamation - I'm not adverse to using it when things go wrong. They describe things with adjectives such as maldith and ffuded, "cursed" and "fucked" respectively. There are also a couple of verb phrases known. I have not gone consistently into Brithenig obscenities, they arise when they are needed, but one important piece of advice, when visiting a pub in Kemr, never refer to a local as a Saeson (Englishman) as a brawl to the face may offend. - andrew. -- Andrew Smith, Intheologus hobbit@earthlight.co.nz Jesus Christ is raging, raging in the streets.
