[snip] Well, the inhabitants of my Black Harbor con-universe are more or less beastly, nasty creatures bent on death and destruction. The only reason they even bother to communicate with each other at all (instead of killing themselves off) and actually develop a language is so that together, they can plan and effect more widespread and thorough destruction. So, their language isn't necessarily pronunciable by humans :-) I'll probably be focusing mostly on the written form of this conlang tho, 'cos the only reason I need it at all is because the protagonist (who is from another con-universe) in the story will be visiting the Black Harbour libraries and learning about where these monstrosities came from.
