Wierd, how words/phrases are used. It is also interesting to see how
four different things are merged into one.
Obscenities = nasty words. Fuck, Shit, etc.
Cursing = such as daming someone to hell, you are cursing them to
something.
Example can be "may you live in interesting times", or "may your shorts
small bad forever" is forms of cursing. All are curses.
Profanity = using someones name in vain, normally a Deity or avatar. God
Damn is an example of profain, and cursing.
Swearing = swearing an oath or like, "by the tits of St. Brigid" is both
swearing, and profain. Showing disrespect to St.Brigid, sort of.
They are actually different things, but normally classed as the same by
many.
