What I wonder is if, by the end of this four years, "dubya" might not
become some sort of derogatory adjective. Enough people seem to have a
low opinion of our esteemed president that I wouldn't be too surprised.
As for the silly, Frenchy (Christophe: nothing against the French,
promise ;) name of that particular letter, I think we should can the
whole thing and go back to using wynn. And while we're at it, we could
go back to using thorn, eth, and ash, too. It would give English more character.
