Sorry to say so, but this is one of the errors in your article. "Sarkoja"
is in fact spelled with k. A Google search on "sarcoja" turns up only two
hits: Your article and a bull terrier from South Africa. Burroughs only
used c in initial positions in Barsoomian words, and my guess is that it
should be treated as k, since Burroughs was probably inspired by Classic
Latin.
