I got Charles Mackay's 'Lost Beauties of the
English Language' on New Year's Eve -- weeks
before I had expected it, being by mail from
the US and everything! Now I'm only waiting
to afford an Old-English dictionary and
'Describing Morphosyntax'... A shame that
interesting books are so expensive and hard
to get here in Sweden!
(And that's only the language books' department.
A CD burner is more urgent, since I want to be
able to make backups on this new computer.)
