I can't listen to au-files here at work, but that last sound that sounds like [Y] to you might actually be the infamous Swedish |u| as spoken with the Finland-Swedish dialect. That would make it something like [}] or [U\] or [8]. I say "Linux" (with my Stockholm dialect) as ["li:n8ks]. I guess that would place me in the "OK, we won't kill you because of your pronunciation, but you'd better improve"-group... :) Daniel Andreasson -- http://www.conlanglinks.tk
