Is the list so touchy about etiquette? Certainly Chris' response was wrong, or at least wrongly worded. But I think international lists must make room for the fact that English written by foreigners (I am not making any particular implication about Mr. Weimer, but I do see a place or two where his English might be improved) can appear a bit blunt. It is not easy anyway to handle a situation when someone has taken pains to answer another question than the one you asked, which is my impression of the case, without having investigated it to any depth... I know I am acting like a blunt and unsophisticated foreigner sometimes, and it doesn't help either that I have a blunt and uncaring personality. If I have insulted anyone, I apology, but I cannot promise that I won't do it again. It's just the way I am. But I do appreciate that the list keeps a higher standard than most internet forums. Gratefully, LEF
