After reading your whole e-mail, I must come to the rather simple conclusion
that, yes, there was some misunderstanding (where "some" should be read as
"much").   I think this is partly due to my scant knowledge of metrics, and my
even scanter knowledge of OT, and further, the ability for my brain to confuse
anything that has the letters "O" and "T" anywhere near it.   That said,
though, your screed (?   Don't know this word) was very informative.   I always
enjoy learning something "knew" (pun-intended).   Thanks!
